Ford Mondeo

Fans of the Ford family will finally be able to smile because the new version finally arrives on our European markets after a long wait and many doubts. Also a few days of the opening of the Paris Salon of the automobile and the arrival in the concession model, Ford tells us a little more about the 2015 Mondeo.


Mondeo arrives in France with three bodies (4 Door Sedan, Sedan 5 door, Break) but dispatching versions at launch is:
-Mondeo EcoBoost and IDD: 5-door hatchback and SW
-Mondeo Hybrid: 4-door sedan
The Mondeo range "thermal" sees its pricing to start at € 30,500 in 5-door 1.5 L EcoBoost with 160 hp BVM6 finish Titanium. Mondeo SW in the same configuration is proposed to € 31,500 price.
The range Mondeo "hybrid" begins to € 33,700 in 4dr Sedan 2.0 L 177 hp Hybrid BVA6 with Titanium finish.
Business Nav range reserved for professionals is also part and start at € 28,950 in version 1.5 L EcoBoost 160 hp.
At launch, the range of engines available is as follows:
L4 1.5L EcoBoost with 160 hp or BVM6 BVA6
L4 2.0 L EcoBoost with 240 hp BVA6
L4 2.0 L TDCI 150 hp with BVM6 or Powershift6
L4 2.0 L TDCI 180 hp with BVM6 or Powershift6
A new L4 2.0 L TDCI Biturbo 210 hp, 450 Nm should complement the range very quickly pending the entry-level versions that will arrive in a few months (L4 1.6L TDCI Econetic 115 hp, 94 g CO2 / km). A Mondeo in L3 1.0 L 125 hp engine is expected in a few months in entry and a 2.0 L 203 hp EcoBoost is expected to arrive in 2015 but nothing says that this model will come in France.
L4 2.0 L 177 hp Hybrid with BVA6
For now, only the Titanium trim level is offered to customers but the range will quickly expand upward (Vignale) and down (Ambiente). Two packs are Titanium X catalog price of € 2,300 (leather / suede) and 2,800 € (Full Leather). These packs offer, in addition to the specific upholstery, electric front seats and Ford Dynamic LED headlights.
Ford's new Mondeo acquires a nice arsenal of electronic aids and assistances within two packs:
- Pack Ultimate Security System monitoring blind spots, lower vigilance detection system the driver airbags belts (the 2 outer rear seats) and photosensitive exterior mirror on the driver side (700 €)
-pack Ultimate: adaptive suspension, adaptive cruise control, BLIS - Blind Spot Monitoring System and power-adjustable steering wheel (€ 2,000)

The adaptive cruise control is also optional (500 €) as the suspension dampers countervailing charge (500 €) or sport frame (150 €). A pedestrian detection system coupled to the automatic braking (up to 80 km / h) with radar and camera called PCA (Pre-Collision Assist) will also be offered to customers.
The Sony navigation system is announced to € 300 and you will pay € 650 for the Premium HiFi Sound System and GPS Sony. The Ford SYNC II * system with voice control is present on the new Mondeo. Alloy wheels from 17 to 19 inches are optional and it will take € 700 for enjoy one of eight metallic body colors.
