Restyled Audi Q3 2015: It still does not change a winning team

3 years after its market launch, the Audi Q3 arrives mid-career and therefore passes naturally through the restyling box.

The crossover to rival rings Mercedes-Benz GLA and other BMW X1 gets a new facelift announcing the stylistic evolution of the brand. As you may have noticed (or not) the changes are very subtle. The first thing that leaps to the eye is the singleframe grille announced in 2012 by the Crosslane concept. This grille joined the end of the two headlights as Citroën with its range DS (and DS 5LS DS6). The headlights have been slightly redesigned and benefit from more Xenon technology and series of LED daytime running lights. Regarding the front and rear bumpers, Audi applied the same recipe, they slightly evolve without changing form, but by adding elements such as the honeycomb pattern on the rear bumper.
Under the hood, the Q3 maintains its 6 engines while meeting Euro 6, however, Audi announced a reduction in CO2 emissions by 17%. Two versions of "Ultra" make their appearances diesel version and petrol version. For the diesel version, it is a 2.0L TDI 150 hp with 340 Nm of torque and an average consumption of 4,4L / 100 km. In petrol version, the Q3 1.4 TFSI advantage of 150 hp and 250 Nm for an average consumption of 5,5L / 100 km (manual 6-speed gearbox) and with cylinder deactivation. As for the RS Q3, it maintains its 2.5L in now developing 340 hp (a gain of 30 hp) and 450 Nm of torque. The period 0 to 100 km / h is completed in 4.8 seconds all in an ever more intense sound with the exhaust-driven shutters. This restyling will arrive soon in concession to a beginner rate to 29 500 euros.
